Turkic-speaking states to sign customs agreement

Secretary General of the Organisation of Turkic States Baghdad Amreyev has said that the member states of the Organisation of Turkic States intend to sign an agreement on simplification of the border crossing.

Amreyev made the remarks at the Turkic business forum in Shusha dedicated to the restoration and development of Karabakh on September 16, Report informs.

“This document will facilitate the customs work, so this is a very important document,” he said.

The secretary-general noted that moreover, preparation is underway to create a free trade regime among Turkic-speaking countries.

“We are currently working on this issue. The EU passed this process many years ago. I am sure that we will achieve this in the future,” he said.
