Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan discuss strengthening economic ties Over a video call
The Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, has shared details of a recent video conference with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov.
In a post on his social media, Jabbarov outlined the fruitful discussions between the two ministers, emphasising their shared satisfaction with the rapid growth of bilateral economic relations, Caliber.Az reports.
“We held a video conference with my colleague Laziz Kudratov, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade. During our discussions, we expressed satisfaction with the dynamic growth of Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan economic relations,” Jabbarov noted.
The talks also focused on exploring further opportunities for cooperation, particularly in areas that could benefit both nations. “We explored potential avenues for collaboration and joint initiatives,” Jabbarov said, highlighting the importance of continued engagement in fostering stronger ties.
In addition to the high-level discussions, the ministers also oversaw an online session of the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan Investment Company. This session provided a platform for reviewing the company's current activities and strategising on ways to enhance mutual investments.
“As part of the meeting, an online session of the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan Investment Company was also held, where we discussed the company’s activities, as well as the ways to stimulate mutual investment and deepen business partnerships,” Jabbarov concluded.
