Azerbaijan, China sign multiple cooperation agreements at Beijing conference
Azerbaijan and China have signed 13 cooperation agreements spanning a wide range of industrial sectors, including the automotive and textile industries, as well as initiatives to promote joint investments.
According to Azerbaijan’s Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), the agreements were concluded during the China-Azerbaijan Industrial and Investment Cooperation Promotion Conference, held in Beijing, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The documents include memoranda of understanding between AZPROMO and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) with the Centre for International Cooperation of China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
Additionally, Azerbaijan’s Centre for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) signed agreements with the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and the World Internet of Things Convention (WIOTC).
Around 200 business representatives took part in the conference, representing sectors such as industry, energy, transport and logistics, agriculture, and information and communication technologies.
