According to him, FIFA was the organiser of the first event with the participation of UEFA and the Asian Football Confederation.

"The main objective was to organise a meeting between the two organisations and to exchange experiences. Europe was represented by the heads of the national federations of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Austria and Portugal, Asia by the heads of the federations of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan. We exchanged views on the various projects and works carried out in each represented country for the development of football. We, in turn, were informed about the work done by AFFA in the field of infrastructure," Hajiyev said.

Hajiyev said that representatives of national federations of Turkic states also met in Tashkent.

"Discussed the implementation of certain joint projects. First of all, we talked about projects that could contribute to the development of children's and youth football, exchange of experience between coaches, and various joint projects related to refereeing," he said.
