Turkish Army destroys 81 militant caves since start of anti-terrorist operation VIDEO
The Turkish Armed Forces have detected and neutralized 369 improvised explosive devices and destroyed 81 caves where militants were allegedly hiding, since the beginning of the Pençe Kilit anti-terrorist operation in northern Iraq on April 17.

The Ministry said that the Pençe Kilit operation, launched to eliminate the terrorist threat near the Turkish border, continues in accordance with the plan.
Since the start of Operation Pençe Kilit in northern Iraq, 57 terrorists have been neutralized, the report added.
The objectives of the first phase of the antiterrorist operation have been successfully achieved. Turkish Armed Forces Special Forces landed in the targeted sectors continue to clear the terrorists' caves and shelters one by one.
Ninety-four large-caliber weapons and more than 20,000 items of ammunition, including those for grenade launchers and mortars, were detected. Large quantities of foodstuffs, generators and televisions were found in the caves.
