Turkish CEC Chairman: 27 ballot boxes not opened UPDATED
Some 99.38 per cent of the ballots were processed at the presidential and parliamentary elections held in Türkiye. Incumbent president Recep Tayyip Erdogan leads with 49.42 per cent of the vote.
“In total, the number of ballot boxes inside our country is 192,214, and as of 09:45 local time [10:45 Baku time] 192,187 ballot boxes were opened, the opening rate within the country is 99 per cent. At present, the number of unopened ballot boxes in the country is 27. We have 9,594 ballot boxes abroad, and the number of open ballot boxes abroad is 8,650, the indicator of the number of ballot boxes open abroad is 84.06 per cent,” Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Ahmet Yener said, according to Caliber.Az.
“As of 09:45, Recep Tayyip Erdogan is gaining 49.42 per cent, Kemal Kılıçdaroglu - 44.95 per cent, Sinan Ogan - 5.20 per cent, and Muharram Ince - 0.43 per cent of the votes,” the head of the CEC added.

After counting all of the ballots, incumbent Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received 49.35 per cent of the vote.
According to TRT Haber, his main opponent, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, scored 45 per cent.
