Turkish intelligence eliminates high-ranking PKK terrorist in Iraq
30 September 2024 15:46
The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has neutralized the so-called leader of the PKK/KSK organization in northern Iraq.
In a pinpoint operation, MİT eliminated Lokman Ismail, the so-called first-degree responsible person in the structure of the terrorist organization's “self-defence” units, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish media.
The terrorist Lokman Ismail, who had been an active member of the PKK/KSK for 30 years, was the organizer of the terrorist attacks in Şırnak and Adana.
Lokman Ismail organized attacks on Turkish security forces during the 2015-2016 incidents in Şırnak and ordered the bombing of two cars carrying Syrian citizens in Adana in 2019.
