Turkish president to visit Balkans in early September

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit the Balkans in early September.

The Serbian presidential cabinet announced this on July 27, TASS reports.

Erdogan will visit Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as other countries in the region in early September.

In mid-June, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu was in Belgrade on a visit, during which he held talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, as well as with Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic. In addition, the Turkish foreign minister agreed on an early visit to Serbia by Erdogan, the date of which was discussed.
