Turkish transport minister foresees 1,500 block trains annually along Middle Corridor

Türkiye's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, anticipates a significant increase in block trains along the Middle Corridor and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTC) railway line between Türkiye and China, Report informs citing foreign media.
Initially planning for 200 block trains annually in the medium term, Uraloglu aims for a long-term goal of 1,500 block trains and 6.5 million tons of cargo per year along this route.
Additionally, efforts are underway to reduce the cargo delivery time between Türkiye and China from 12 to 10 days.
