Turkish travellers visit Agali smart village in Azerbaijan
International travellers from the Turkish Travelers' Club Association - visited the village of Agali in Zangilan in the East Zangazur region on October 30.
According to the Report's journalist sent to East Zangazur, on the third day of the visit, the guests were informed about the Zangilan region, including the 27-year-long period of occupation when along with the city centre, 5 settlements and 79 villages were completely destroyed.
The purpose of the trip is to get acquainted with the territories liberated from occupation within the framework of "black tourism".
Over the past year, Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur regions were visited by the main international travellers, uniting the world business and tourist elite. Four group trips were organized to Karabakh and East Zangazur at the level of founders, presidents and prominent members of international travel networks - clubs ETIC (Extremal Travelers International Congress), MTP (Most Traveled People), TCC (Travelers' Century Club), Nomadmania.
In total, about 200 international travellers from nearly 30 countries took part in these trips.
The team of Turkish travellers is led by the President of the Turkish Travel Club, Salman Arinc, who is one of the 50 most famous international travellers in the world according to Nomadmania's global rankings.
