Turkiye asks Iran to increase gas exports

Turkiye and Iraq are asking Iran to increase gas exports.

Negotiations are ongoing with Turkey and Iraq to extend the agreement on gas exports, the Head of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Majid Chegeni said, according to APA's Tehran bureau.

“Both countries have applied to increase gas exports from Iran. We will try to increase exports in accordance with the available opportunities,” the NIGC head said.

Chegeni added that a relevant working group has been set up to discuss the issue.
