Türkiye highlights growing anti-doping partnership with Azerbaijan

Türkiye and Azerbaijan are actively contributing to the fight for clean sport, the promotion of sporting ethics and the global effort to combat doping, Turkish Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Safa Koçoğlu Gürsoy told journalists.

Speaking about the third official meeting of the Project Approval Committee of the Fund for the Elimination of Doping in Sport, she said:

“The forum has become an important platform for discussing international partnerships and exchanging views on the measures countries are taking to combat doping.

We want athletes to compete in an honest and fair environment, and we believe that the fight against doping should not be limited to test results or specific sanctions alone. This process must also be supported by education and scientific research.”
