Türkiye reveals terrorists’ large weapons cache

Turkish security forces have found a large weapons cache of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) as part of the 17th phase of the anti-terrorist Operation Eren Abluka in Sirnak province in southeastern Türkiye.

The Sirnak gendarmerie organised an operation in Guven settlement in Bostanci village of Silopi district proceeding from the intelligence data, the Turkish Ministry of Interior told Anadolu Agency.

During the operation, 14 Kalashnikov assault rifles and five hand grenades hidden in the ground were seized.
