"In June alone, exports from the defence and aviation industry totalled $563 million. Our exports for the first 6 months increased by 21.6 per cent year-on-year to $2.883 billion," the publication stated.
Görgün emphasized that their export strategy aims to sustain growth in exports of high-value-added products, adding, "I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all our companies and their employees who are at the forefront of increasing our exports."
"I am proud to announce that Turkish defence and aerospace products are currently operational in 185 countries worldwide. I also take this opportunity to express gratitude to the countries that place their trust in Türkiye's defence capabilities by integrating our domestic systems into their inventories," he noted.
Years of strategic investment have transformed Türkiye's defence industry, reducing reliance on Western weapons through innovative engineering and domestic technologies.
