An awards ceremony for firefighters from foreign countries who were extinguishing forest fires in Mugla province was held in Türkiye on June 28.
Commander of the Turkish Air Force, Lieutenant-General Ziya Cemal Kadioglu expressed gratitude to the crew members of the BE-200CS amphibious aircraft of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations and presented them with valuable gifts on behalf of the leadership of the Turkish National Defence Ministry, Caliber.Az reports referring to the Turkish National Defence Ministry’s message on Twitter.
Azerbaijani firefighters, who were extinguishing forest fires in the Marmaris region of the Turkish Mugla city, flew to their homeland.
