Türkiye to witness abnormal heat wave again
A new heat wave is to hit Türkiye, in some regions of the country, the air temperature may rise by 10°C above the seasonal norm.
"The heat waves observed in the east and south-east of the country will act in other regions as well. The air temperature will rise by 10 degrees above the seasonal norm," General Meteorological Directorate said, according to Gazeta.ru.
It is expected that low cloudiness will be observed in the northeastern regions of Türkiye and in the areas of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas. According to meteorological experts, there will be localised showers on the eastern coast of the Black Sea and the eastern coast of the Central Black Sea, as well as in the north-east of Eastern Anatolia.
The rest of the country will have clear and cloudy weather.
High temperatures are forecast for Diyarbakir (+41°C), Gaziantep (+40°C), and Edirne (+38°C) provinces.
