TurkPA Commission adopts new bill on social entrepreneurship
A new draft law has been adopted at the meeting of the Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TurkPA) held in Azerbaijan’s Parliament in Baku.
The meeting focuses on the adoption of a bill "On the development of social entrepreneurship", Report informs.
Lazzat Ramazanova, member of the commission, MP of Kazakhstan, spoke about the draft law. "This law will contribute to the development of relations between member countries of the organization", she said.
Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TurkPA) was established on 21 November 2008 by the Istanbul Agreement signed by the Heads of Parliaments of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey in order to develop and strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation among the member states.
The TurkPA Secretariat is located in Baku and has the status of international organization. Based on historical, cultural and language affinity, the organization seeks to develop political dialogue among the member states by means of parliamentary diplomacy, harmonize the national legislation of the member states and strengthen mutual activities with regard to other issues relating to the inter-parliamentary cooperation.
