UEFA punishes French FC Nantes for using banned devices in match with Qarabağ FK

The UEFA Disciplinary Committee has punished the French football club FC Nantes for using pyrotechnic devices in the Europa League group stage match with Qarabağ FK of Azerbaijan.

The club will be punished with a partial closure of the stands for the playoff game of the Europa League with Juventus, which will be held on February 23, according to Report. In addition, Nantes will pay a fine of 42,000 euros.

The match between FC Nantes and Qarabağ FK took place on October 27.
