Ukrainian businesses keen to deepen cooperation with Azerbaijan
Ukrainian entrepreneurs are showing great interest in deepening cooperation with Azerbaijan, Ukrainian Ambassador to Baku Yuriy Husyev told Report.
“Last year, we recorded growth in bilateral trade, showing a positive trend. We see strong interest from businesses on both sides in expanding trade and economic cooperation, and we hope our bilateral trade will continue to grow. There is enormous potential,” the ambassador said.
Husyev noted that Ukraine and Azerbaijan are already implementing joint projects and expressed hope for further strengthening of the partnership.
“We have joint projects and are witnessing increased investment in Ukraine’s economy. We hope that bilateral trade will also grow this year and next,” he said.
The ambassador added that Kyiv and Baku share a clear vision for the future development of their relations.
“We have a very clear understanding of our shared future. In July, we held a highly productive meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and adopted a joint roadmap and action plan to deepen cooperation across various sectors, including humanitarian affairs, education, energy, and others,” Husyev concluded.
