Ukrainian-Crimean Tatar partisans strike Russian military hub in St. Petersburg PHOTO / VIDEO
The Ukrainian-Crimean Tatar partisan movement ATESH carried out an act of sabotage in one of the districts of St. Petersburg, which is hosting key Russian military and security infrastructure facilities.
The movement itself shared the incident on its Telegram channel, as reported by Caliber.Az.
The operation resulted in the destruction of a technical module of a telecommunications tower, severely disrupting the tower's functioning.
The sabotage took place in an area that houses such significant facilities as Luch Radio Electronics Repair Plant JSC, a Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) institute, as well as units and training centres linked to the Russian Navy and the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate.

Also located nearby are Novosibirsk Cartridge Plant JSC and a branch of the Kometa Corporation, a research and production centre working for Russia’s defence industry.
The high concentration of strategically important facilities in this area makes it a key element of Russia’s military and security infrastructure. Disruptions to communications at such a hub significantly affect data transmission, command, and operational coordination, even far from the front line.
