Ukrainian intelligence: Enemy losses significant, but not critical yet

Losses of Russians in the war are significant, but so far not critical for the enemy.

They have a large mobilization resource, but problems with the Russian troops remain, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defence Ministry Vadim Skibitskyi stated, according to "Ukrainskaya Pravda".

According to Skibitskyi, first of all, it's a recruitment of combat units, a shortage of deficit specialties - drivers, gunners - specialties that require special training.

Also, the MID reports that there is a shortage of personnel to form a battalion or battalion-tactical group in the places of permanent deployment of the enemy. Now they are being formed from different units.

"Mobilization in Russia is taking place covertly. The country's Combat Army Reserve (acronym "BARS") is now being activated, at the expense of which rifle battalions are being formed. There is clear evidence of this. There are no medical commissions or other procedures, they just sign a contract at the military registration and go to the front.

The second method of mobilization in the Russian Federation is the formation of volunteer battalions based on nationality. The Kremlin has ordered the creation of such battalions in all federal entities. The number of one battalion is 500-600 men, who will fight in Ukraine.

Mercenaries are also widespread. These are mostly from the Middle East, which also contradicts international conventions. So far, Russia is not declaring mobilization, because to do so, it is necessary to declare war. For the Kremlin, it is to declare defeat and failure to execute previously announced plans," said a representative of the Ukrainian intelligence service.
