A US military strike on February 7 in Baghdad killed a Kataib Hezbollah commander who was responsible for attacks on American forces in the region, according to US Central Command.

"At 9:30 p.m. (Baghdad Time) on February 7, US Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted a unilateral strike in Iraq in response to the attacks on US service members, killing a Kataib Hezbollah commander responsible for directly planning and participating in attacks on US forces in the region. There are no indications of collateral damage or civilian casualties at this time," the release on X says, per Caliber.Az.
"The United States will continue to take necessary action to protect our people. We will not hesitate to hold responsible all those who threaten our forces’ safety," the message reads.

Meanwhile, a US base at the Al-Omar oil field in Deir ez-Zor province in eastern Syria has come under rocket fire.
The US base was attacked by a drone.
According to information, four missiles were fired at the base, explosions occurred on its territory. After the shelling, helicopters took to the air from the US base.
At the same time, the United Kingdom and the United States have carried out another round of strikes on facilities belonging to Houthis from the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah.
Two strikes hit the area of Ras Isa port in Yemen’s Hodeidah province.
