US Secretary of State declares military solution in Ukraine unattainable VIDEO

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has announced that the US officially acknowledged that a military resolution to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine is unattainable.

"On the issue of Ukraine, here's what we can all agree on. There is no military solution to this crisis. It will have to end in a negotiated settlement. And the fundamental challenge we have in Ukraine is this, Russia wants what they do not currently have and are not entitled to. And Ukraine wants what they cannot regain militarily. And that's been the crux of the challenge," Rubio said, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

The secretary of state also addressed the challenges facing Washington and its NATO allies in providing Ukraine with necessary defence equipment.

He admitted that there were not enough Patriot systems even for NATO countries and acknowledged that they couldn't produce them quickly enough, recognising the limitations in military aid supplies.

He underscored that these positions create significant obstacles to achieving peace through military means and confirmed that the US had not stopped supplying arms to Ukraine, but stated that no decisions had been made regarding the formation of new aid packages. 

Despite this, Rubio reassured that the US is working closely with NATO allies to bolster Ukraine’s defence capabilities, particularly in providing additional Patriot missile defence batteries.
