Yatskin: Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia at highest level

Russian-Azerbaijani relations are at the highest level.

First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Andrei Yatskin said this at the 20th meeting of the interparliamentary commission on bilateral cooperation between the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis and the Russian Federal Assembly in Baku, Report informs.

“We attach particular importance to intensifying these relations. We are strengthening our cooperation on interparliamentary lines and beyond,” said A. Yatskin.

He noted the growth in trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia.

“The desire of the regions to cooperate is also only growing. Cooperation in the transport sector is a key point for the economies of the two countries,” the first deputy chairman of the Russian Federation Council added.
