Azerbaijani youth taekwondo fighters succeed in Maltese tournament

    A youth Taekwondo tournament is being hosted in the Maltese capital of Valetta, with Azerbaijan’s athletes continuing to achieve stunning results on its second day.

    As APA reported, citing the Azerbaijani Taekwondo Federation, the team won 2 medals on that day, Mehdi Budagli (33 kg) and Bahadur Dostuyev (49 kg) both winning the bronze medal. 

    The team has therefore won its fourth medal, with Zahra Isayeva (29kg) having won the gold medal and Khuraman Javadzade (37kg) silver on the first day of the championship.

    The tournament will last until November 28.
