Almost 100 active Starlink internet satellites over Iran

SpaceX Chef Elon Musk said that the company is now close to having 100 active Starlink satellites over Iran “to advance internet freedom and the free flow of information" amid restrictions put in place by the government in Tehran.

He announced this figure on December 26, as reported by Reuters.

Caliber.Az recalls, that Starlink is a network of satellites by SpaceX delivering high-speed, low-latency broadband internet in remote and rural locations globally. First launched in 2019, the network is made up of more than 3,000 satellites today.
