Azerbaijani parliament speaker to address OIC Parliamentary Union conference in Algeria

Speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Sahiba Gafarova will address the 17th conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

A parliamentary delegation headed by Gafarova will visit Algiers city of the Algerian People's Democratic Republic on January 28 to attend the conference, as well as meetings of the organisation's committees, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Azerbaijani parliament told APA.

The delegation consists of Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijani parliament Fazail Ibrahimli, MPs Sabir Rustamkhanli, Javanshir Pashazade, Mahir Abbaszade, Zhala Aliyeva, Tahir Karimli and other officials.

During the visit, the speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament is expected to make a speech at the 17th conference of the OIC Parliamentary Union and hold a number of meetings with the heads of delegations who will take part in the event.
