Azerbaijan launches first phase of resettlement to liberated Talish village

Twenty Azerbaijani families (90 people) left for the liberated Tartar region's TalIsh village as part of the Great Return programme on March 16.

So far, these families have been living in temporary accommodation facilities in Baku, Barda, Tartar, Samukh and Goranboy, according to Azertac.

The Azerbaijani government has completed the first phase of restoration and construction activities in Talish village.

The Azerigaz Production Union has laid an underground gas pipeline 11.1 km long to the village.

In addition, employers have concluded contracts to provide employment for the population.
