Azerbaijan to resettle 158 more families in Talish village Statement by Azerbaijani president's special rep
The Azerbaijani president's special representative in the liberated territories of the Karabakh economic region (except the Shusha district), Emin Huseynov, has said that 158 more families will be resettled in the liberated Talish village.
“Restoration work is underway. At the next stage, 158 more families are planned to be resettled. This is the second phase of the project. The construction of these houses will take very little time,” he told APA.
Huseynov said that in the first stage, 20 residential buildings and nine non-residential buildings, as well as four road networks had been completely restored in the Talish village.
“The Talish village is the first restored village in the Karabakh economic region, and for the first time the village has been fully provided with gas,” he added.
Huseynov noted that a number of design operations are at the stage of completion in the Karabakh economic region, namely, in the Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand districts.
“The first residential micro-district of Fuzuli district should be commissioned by late 2023. The work is being rapidly carried out. At the same time, both the first and the second residential areas, the foundations of which were laid by President Aliyev, will be put into operation in the Aghdam district in 2023 while the restoration work will begin in Khidirli, Kangarli and Sarijali villages of the Aghdam district,” the special representative added.
Huseynov noted that the restoration process will begin in Pirahmadli, Dadali and Dovlatyarli villages of the Fuzuli district in September 2023, which is the second "smart" village. The work will be completed in time according to the schedule.
He added that people will be resettled in three villages of the Aghdam district, as well as in Hadrut settlement and Tugh village, in 2024.
