POLITICS 26 March 2023 - 16:22
All products from Poland to Azerbaijan can be transported through the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Rafal Poborski.
The ambassador noted that Azerbaijan is interested in importing grain, and Poland produces it in large volumes, Trend informs.
According to the ambassador, grain exports have been the subject of recent discussions between the two countries' ministries.
The ambassador said that Poland's trade turnover is diverse, it is not concentrated in one chain and Poland has diverse exports. Poland also offers to export furniture and equipment for factories to Azerbaijan.
In February 2023, a meeting was held between Grzegorz Piechowiak, Poland’s Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Technology, and Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Transport and Digital Development, at which the parties discussed the development of the TITR, as well as cooperation in the transport and ICT spheres.
Exports from Poland to Azerbaijan amounted to $119.5 million in 2022, and exports from Azerbaijan to Poland were $21.45 million.
