Armenia provides many with reservation from mobilisation
Armenian Hraparak newspaper has reported that numerous people have been provided with a “reservation” from being drafted into the army during hostilities and from participating in training camps.
As Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media, the information was provided by sources in the Armenian Defence Ministry, noting that the decision covered people from National Assembly employees and ministries to private companies.
“In particular, people who have received a ‘reservation’ are qualified as ‘important specialists’, whose activities are strictly necessary for the country and cannot be suspended during the war, therefore they are not subject to mobilization,” the report noted.
The state provides “reservations” to specific people, the absence of which may disrupt the work of this institution, and this applies to both the public and private sectors, the newspaper writes.
