Armenian parliament refuses to discuss anti-Azerbaijani bill

The Armenian National Assembly refused to include a draft law on introducing criminal liability "for recognizing Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan" in the agenda of the plenary session.

Some 57 MPs of the Civil Contract faction voted against the decision, while 26 opposition deputies supported the document, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.

Earlier, the Armenian Parliament's State and Legal Affairs Commission rejected the legislative initiative to ban the recognition of Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan, and the draft cannot be discussed in the plenary session.
