Armenia continues boycotting CSTO Simonyan refused to visit Moscow

Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan will not attend the visiting session of the Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Parliamentary Assembly and the 16th plenary session on December 19 in Moscow.

Armenian Parliament speaker's press secretary Tsovinar Khachatryan made a statement in this regard, Caliber.Az reports.

"The Armenian Parliament Speaker notified about his decision in an official letter to Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin," Khachatryan said.

According to the statement, neither the Armenian parliamentary delegation will take part in the sessions.

Armenia boycotts CSTO meetings, earlier Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan did not attend the organisation's summit in Minsk.
