Germany vows huge consignment of artillery shells to Ukraine

Germany will continue to provide military support to Ukraine in 2024 and will soon transfer almost 200,000 artillery shells to Ukraine.

This was stated in an interview with the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung by the Inspector General of the Bundeswehr Karsten Breuer, Gazeta.ru reports.

"Germany will be able to supply almost 200,000 artillery shells next year," the serviceman said.

He noted that ammunition production is currently increasing and this will not be affected in any way by the result of the US presidential election.

"As before, I see the need to support Ukraine as long as necessary, whatever the outcome of the US election," Breuer said.
