Japan ready to assist Azerbaijan on COP29

Japan highly appreciates Azerbaijan's efforts to achieve peace.

Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Watanabe Katsuya said, according to Report.

The ambassador noted that there are ample opportunities for cooperation between Japan and Azerbaijan in the territories liberated from occupation.

"Friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Japan have been strengthened over the past 30 years. This November Azerbaijan will host COP29 and Japan is ready to provide all possible assistance in holding this conference," the diplomat said.
