Azerbaijan demonstrating tourism opportunities at SATTE exhibition in India PHOTO

The representatives of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board are participating in the SATTE exhibition in New Delhi, India thanks to the Azerbaijani State Tourism Agency.

Together with the representatives of the Shahdag Tourist Centre, 19 representatives of the Azerbaijani tourism sector are describing the tourism opportunities, the State Tourism Agency told Caliber.Az.

Azerbaijani ambassador to India Elchin Huseynli viewed the national stand.

CEO of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board Florian Sengstschmid delivered a speech at the panel discussion.

Moreover, an event dedicated to Azerbaijan’s tourism was organised by the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau in New Delhi. The representatives of the Indian IndiGo airline, 49 travel companies and 11 journalists attended the event.

Some 10,135 Indian citizens visited Azerbaijan in January 2024, which is 147 per cent more than in January 2023.
