French Ambassador provides insights on Lachin visit, COP29 cooperation
Anne Bouillon, the French Ambassador to Azerbaijan, has recounted her experience of visiting Lachin as part of a delegation of diplomatic representatives accredited in the country.
In an interview with Report, Bouillon expressed that this was her first visit to Lachin and highlighted the significance of the trip. She emphasized the importance of understanding Azerbaijan's priorities as the country chairs COP29, particularly focusing on renewable energy, tourism, and agriculture projects in the region.
The diplomat also shared her impressions of the results of restoration and construction in Lachin, noting the beauty of these places: "There is no such destruction in Lachin as in Aghdam and other regions, and I was interested to see what progress has been made since the restoration works started here".
Regarding cooperation within COP29, the French ambassador mentioned a recent visit by the COP29 president to Paris. She stressed the global significance of COP29 and emphasized the need to support its success for the future of the world and future generations.
