UN Assistant Secretary-General engages in talks with Azerbaijani officials PHOTO

Ivana Zivkovic, UN Deputy Secretary-General, Deputy Administrator of the Development Programme, and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and CIS, is currently undertaking an official visit to Azerbaijan.

According to Report, during her visit, Zivkovic conducted several official meetings aimed at exchanging perspectives on current matters. Among her engagements, the Regional Director conferred with the Presidential Representative for Special Assignments, Elchin Amirbayov.

In discussions with Deputy Minister of Economy, Sahib Mammadov, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samir Sharifov, the focus was on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), COP29, and other pertinent issues.
