Ankara eyeing to complete Turkish section of Zangazur corridor in 2023

This year, work will be completed on the Turkish section of the transport corridor through Zangazur.

The work on the construction of the Turkish section of the new transport corridor, which will pass through Zangazur, will be completed this year.

Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu told reporters in Ankara, Report informs.

In his words, an alternative corridor is currently being created, which originates in Azerbaijan, passes through Zangazur, and ends in Kars.

“The work on the section of the corridor passing through the territory of Azerbaijan is already nearing completion. We are working in Dilucu, Igdir, and Kars, which we plan to complete this year,” the minister said.
