Minister: Azerbaijan, China forge ties to boost energy infrastructure collaboration
Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has announced that discussions were held to actively promote the participation of Chinese companies in the development of Azerbaijan’s energy infrastructure.
“We had a productive meeting with Mr. Wang Hongzhi, Head of the National Energy Administration of the People's Republic of China, on strengthening bilateral energy cooperation,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the minister’s message on X.

“We exchanged views on ensuring the active participation of Chinese companies in the planning, production, and supply of equipment for renewable energy in Azerbaijan, as well as in the development of energy infrastructure, including offshore wind energy and interconnectors,” the minister added.
