Azerbaijan-UK trade soars 61% in first seven months of 2025
The volume of trade between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom reached $886.3 million in January–July 2025, marking a 61 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.
According to,the State Customs Committee, despite the overall growth in trade, Azerbaijani exports to the UK fell by 45.8%, totaling $215.9 million, representing 1.42% of the country’s exports for the period, down from 2.48% in January–July 2024, Caliber.Az reports.
Meanwhile, imports from the UK surged 4.4 times, reaching $670.4 million and accounting for 4.92% of Azerbaijan’s imports, up from 1.41% in the same period last year.
The data highlight a sharp rise in Azerbaijani imports from the UK, which offset the decline in exports, driving the overall growth in bilateral trade.
