03 September 2025 16:40

The fourth Azerbaijani-Turkish Energy Forum will be held in Izmir on September 4.

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar are expected to participate, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy.

The forum will cover topics including hydrocarbons and petrochemicals, renewable energy, energy efficiency, regulation, and extractive industries, as well as the signing of a protocol. Participants will also visit SOCAR’s Aliaga terminal.

The Azerbaijani-Turkish Energy Forum was established to further strengthen strategic energy cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. The first forum took place in Baku on December 21–22, 2021; the second in Istanbul on October 5–6, 2022; and the third in Nakhchivan on September 28–29, 2023.
