Azerbaijan, China sign agreement to study electricity transmission network PHOTO
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy and China’s Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute (EPPEI) have signed a landmark agreement to conduct a comprehensive study of Azerbaijan’s electricity transmission network.
The agreement aims to support the development of a more flexible, resilient, and renewable energy–adaptive power infrastructure in Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports via Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov’s post on X.

The signing took place during a meeting between Shahbazov and Mr. Xu Lu, Vice President of China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC). The two sides exchanged views on advancing the implementation of the Action Plan within the framework of their comprehensive strategic partnership in renewable energy.
