Ankara upbeat about steps to strengthen Turkic unity VIDEO
At the historic Istanbul Summit last year, our leaders took important steps for our union.
Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stated this during a speech at a press conference following an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Turkish Foreign Ministry's Twitter.
He noted that during the meeting, both preparations for the summit of leaders to be held on November 11 in Samarkand and current issues were discussed.
“During our presidency, the strengthening of our solidarity was also discussed. As you know, events known to us took place in Kazakhstan, and we supported the fraternal country and people ... We also discussed what is happening in Ukraine, Central Asia and the Caucasus. We also discussed the possibility of establishing peace after the Karabakh victory of Azerbaijan,” he said.
The Minister added that the next meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States will be held on November 11 in Samarkand.
