Another Russian wheat cargo train departs for Armenia via Azerbaijan
Another train transporting Russian wheat to Armenia via Azerbaijan has departed from Bilajari station, operated by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, with the cargo comprising 14 rail wagons carrying 976 tonnes of wheat.
The train is bound for Boyuk Kesik station, from where it will cross into Georgia before continuing to its final destination in Armenia, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
To date, Azerbaijan's transit corridor has facilitated the delivery of more than 35,000 tonnes of grain, nearly 8,000 tonnes of fertiliser, 133 tonnes of aluminium, 68 tonnes of buckwheat and 414 tonnes of anthracite from Russia to Armenia.
In addition, Azerbaijan has exported more than 14,000 tonnes of diesel fuel and close to 5,000 tonnes of RON 92 and RON 95 gasoline to Armenia.
