Anti-Azerbaijan resolution rejected at Euronest PA meeting

Head of the Azerbaijani parliament's delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly (PA), Tahir Mirkishili, and members of the delegation Tural Ganjaliyev, Iltizam Yusifov, Vugar Bayramov, Soltan Mammadov, and Nurlan Hasanov have been on a visit to Moldovas' capital Chisinau since February 18 to participate in the 10th plenary meeting of the organization.

According to Azertag, at the meeting of the Euronest PA Bureau, the resolution prepared against Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, which was supported with particular enthusiasm by the Armenian delegation, was rejected.

The resolution on "Political Prisoners" called on Azerbaijan to release alleged "Armenian prisoners".

After the speeches of the representatives of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine, despite the objections of the Armenian delegation, the resolution was rejected by a unanimous decision of the participants.
