Arab sheikhs want to buy Russian football club
The investment fund No Limits Sports from the United Arab Emirates is considering the acquisition of the Volgograd football club Rotor, journalist Ivan Karpov said on his Telegram channel.
“Rotor is among the three Russian clubs that have significant investment potential for our partners,” emphasised Vadim Andreyev, President of the fund’s Eurasian division, per Caliber.Az.
Rotor is one of three clubs in the Russian Premier League (RPL) and the Football National League (FNL) that are of interest to Arab investors. The fund is offering a unique investment model, not limited to fixed amounts: investments can range from one billion to tens of billions of rubles, depending on the quality of the business plan. The goal is to turn the club into a high-yield asset within 3–5 years.
