Armenia will have to make a choice between regional cooperation and illegal and unjustified territorial claims to its neighbours, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said in his article published in the official press.

Report informs that in his piece, Bayramov points out that the foreign policy of President Ilham Aliyev, implemented within the framework of international law, based on national interests, has always contained the principles of justice and humanism:

"Showing strategic patience, Azerbaijan has been negotiating for decades to end the occupation of its territory, implement the decisions of international organisations, and ensure international law."

The article by the Azerbaijani top diplomat notes that Armenia now has to choose between regional cooperation and illegal and groundless territorial claims to its neighbours: "Of course, the role of the international community in this issue is also important. It is imperative not to support Armenia's revanchist attempts".
