Armenia, Iran reaffirm mutual commitment to expanding strategic cooperation

Yerevan and Tehran recognize the importance of implementing joint projects across the economic, cultural, and transport sectors, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturian and Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani emphasized during a meeting.

President Khachaturian congratulated Ambassador Sobhani, the people, and the leadership of Iran on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, offering his warm wishes for continued success and prosperity.

The two officials discussed key matters regarding the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Iran, underscoring the importance of expanding partnership and cooperation between the two countries.

They particularly highlighted the necessity of strengthening the close ties that exist between Armenia and Iran, which have proven to be valuable.

Both parties reiterated the importance of continuing efforts aimed at further developing their bilateral cooperation, a process that reflects the high level of mutual understanding shared between the two nations.
