Armenia is in dire straits Ex-ruling party MP
"Winners are not judged... It is not 2016, 2017, or even 2020 now. In 2024, both the world and the region have changed and become more problematic. The threats have increased. We have weakened."
Armenian media quotes Eduard Sharmazanov, a member of the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia, Caliber.Az reports.
"Under such conditions, unrealistic assessments of not only the ruling regime but also of some non-powerful figures are surprising. Remember - force begets right. Before making demands on opponents, mediators, and allies, calculate your strength. One threatens Russia, another threatens the West, and the third threatens Türkiye. Let's look at things soberly, we all together cannot even cope with Nikol [Pashinyan], what are you talking about? When the national power is formed, then everyone will reckon with us. Under the capitulation regime, we are not worth a dime. This is a brutal reality," the representative of [former president Serzh] Sargsyan's party notes.
